With a career spanning five decades, he’s known for his roles in hit films and TV dramas like Dhoop Kinare and Om Shanti Om. He has also made a mark in Bollywood, becoming one of South Asia’s most respected entertainers.

Javed Sheikh started his film career in 1974 with the movie Dhamaka. He acted in over 100 Urdu films and began his directing career in 1995 with Mushkil.
In 2005, he ventured into Bollywood, appearing in films like Shikhar and Na Maloom Afraad, and also made his mark in Namaste London and Om Shanti Om. His role in Jannat (2008) was particularly notable.

Javed Sheikh remains active in Pakistani entertainment, with recent roles in  Khuda Aur Muhabbat 4 (2022), Meri Zindagi Hai Tu (2023) & Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum (2024).Â
